The Greenpoint Stadium (African Renaissance Stadium) in Cape Town, the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, the Kings Park Stadium (King Senzangakhona Stadium) in Durban, and the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit will be brand new for the 2010 World Cup. Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg, the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, the Soccer City Stadium, and the Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg will be modernised and expanded. The Final is likely to be held at the 80,000 capacity Soccer City Stadium.
